Terms
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These terms describe the first release of the private archive in plain language. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
Your account
You are responsible for accurate account details, a strong unique password and activity performed through your account. Do not share sign-in credentials. We may suspend accounts reasonably believed to be compromised, unlawful or harmful.
Your photographs remain yours
You retain ownership of photographs, captions and stories you upload. You grant the service only the limited permission necessary to host, protect, back up, inspect for technical safety, resize and display that material to you and people you authorise. This permission does not include advertising, resale, unrelated profiling or AI model training.
Material you upload
You must have the right to upload and share material and must respect the privacy of living relatives. Do not upload illegal, abusive or malicious content. SVG and executable content are not accepted as photographs.
Private sharing and contributors
Album owners control invitations, viewer/contributor permissions and revocation. The uploader owns a contributed photograph and uses their own storage allowance; the album owner owns album structure and may detach a contribution without deleting the contributor’s underlying photo.
Plans, storage and future billing
Storage limits are measured in bytes, principally from original files under the current quota policy. Uploads are paused when the allowance is exhausted; existing photographs are not silently deleted. Prices and plan names may change with appropriate notice. Real payments are currently disabled, so no paid subscription, renewal or charge can be created in this release.
Availability and backups
We design for careful preservation but no online service can promise uninterrupted or loss-proof operation. Keep an independent copy of irreplaceable originals. Any production backup schedule or service commitment published for the service will form part of the operational information available to account holders.
Export, deletion and termination
You may export originals you own and their archive information. Deletion is staged to respect contributor ownership, shared album structure, security records and lawful financial retention. We will explain the effects before irreversible removal.
Liability and governing law
Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded. These terms are governed by the laws applicable to BackTwoFront Technologies Ltd and the customer; any dispute will be handled by a court or alternative process with lawful jurisdiction.
